I have been a fitness professional for over 25 years and initially trained as a pilates instructor with Michael King at the Pilates Institute, London. My passion led me to re-certify as a Level 3 instructor several years later. I am also a Level 3 Pre and Post Natal Pilates Instructor and welcome both pre and postnatal students into my classes.
My belief is that we are forever learning and I believe in the importance of continually updating my training to give the best experience to all of my students.
As an instructor, my aim is to help my students increase body awareness, understand the importance of good technique and improve alignment and posture. I reference the Original 34 Moves but I actively encourage my students to experiment with modifications and variations to help them as individuals to achieve their goals. I have a passionate interest in the concept of Pilates re-balancing us, not only physically but also mentally and emotionally.
Pilates is an holistic form of exercise that in recent years has gained widespread support from the worlds of sport and medicine. It is a body-conditioning method that works in different ways to other fitness techniques. Targeting the deep postural muscles, it works by building strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and bringing it into correct postural alignment.
Pilates is also the ultimate mind-body workout. Fitness of mind and body belong together, each one having the power to affect the other.
This method of stretching and strengthening in a precise and natural rhythm produces profound results for people of all ages and abilities.
With regular sessions, you gain a valuable insight into how your body works. Pilates teaches balance and control of the body which spills over into other areas of one’s life. This is one of the best ways to invest in yourself and your well-being.
The Principles of Pilates
Joseph Pilates based his work on three principles: Breath, whole-body health and whole-body commitment; with the whole-body encompassing mind, body and spirit.
It is in the honouring of the Pilates Principles that the depth of the work is achieved.
These Principles are traditionally cited as:
‘Above all, learn how to breathe correctly’ – Joseph Pilates

The Peppa Pig World themed area is based on the children's animated television series Peppa Pig. The Lost Kingdom themed area includes 27 animatronic dinosaurs. The park name is derived from the former Paultons Estate, on which the park is situated. The park covers 140 acres of land and features a collection of around 80 species of birds and animals, in addition to the rides. Most of the theme park rides are designed for children and families, which is why the park considers itself a family theme park. The nearest station is Totton which is 5.64 km away from the attraction.[
